Scott Weiland Blames Travel Troubles For Missed Sundance Gig
Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland is now talking about his absence earlier this week from a Sundance Film Festival performance. The singer explains that the private plane he chartered to get to the show was diverted due to bad weather, and ended up only taking him to Van Nuys, California. Weiland notes that once back on the ground he tried to make other arrangements to get to Salt Lake City, but he was unable to pull anything off in such a short time period. But the band still performed, with other group members -- and people from the crowd -- stepping up to handle lead vocals for the show. |
