Top Chef Returns For Season Five By: Ryan Mathews  |

 The ovens get fired up again as Top Chef, Bravo Network’s smash reality cooking show returns for season five.
This season, Top Chef is based in New York City, perhaps the foodie capital of the world.
Returning this season as host is the very lovely and talented Padma Lakshmi who is more than just a host. She is also the author of two best selling cookbooks.
Also returning is (perhaps the star of the show) renowned chef and lead judge Tom Colicchio, as well as Gail Simmons of Food & Wine Magazine.
Top Chef is always entertaining and this season looks to contain all the drama and excitement of seasons past.
Will we get such catch phrases like, “I’m not your bitch, bitch!” as we did from Dave in season one. Or experience the drama of Cliff attacking the snarky Marcel in season two, or sit amazed at the skill and technique of Hung from season three? Or sit dumbfounded at the rough and tumble cast that made up season four? Only time will tell.
But the time to watch is Wednesdays at 10:00 PM EST on the Bravo Network.
If you have never seen the show before you really have to check it out. Reality TV is Bravo’s specialty, and Top Chef is one of the lead items of the Bravo menu. One thing is for sure, Top Chef is a delicious addition to the Wednesday night TV line up.
